  1. Tweaking a Scheduled Restart

I didn't see a category that this question fit so I'm posting it here in the General category. Windows 10/64 Home and Pro Version 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1110) I have added a task in task scheduler on all my Windows 10 PCs to restart each PC at a specific time every day. An issue I've ran into with this is that occasionally I'll be using a PC at the time the scheduled restart occurs. I've adjusted the time period before restart out to a few minutes, which usually gives me time to stop what I'm doing, but the other day I was installing some new software when the reboot happened. I had to reinstall the software because it didn't like the stop in the middle and wouldn't run properly. Is there something that I can edit/add to the task that would give me a popup option to delay or cancel the restart? If no, is there someway to stop the restart after the scheduled task has started the process and the popup warning me that Windows will restart appears?

    :)

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

    Tweaking a Scheduled Restart

    Restart is scheduled

I keep getting a pop-up message that say's "Don't Forget a restart is scheduled for ?? oclock" I have cleared the notifications and restarted my computer 3 times and still get this message. The only difference is the time keeps changing. I don't have any updates listed as being ready to install. The only updates I have listed as installed are for Defender. I didn't have this problem this morning. Anyone else getting this?
