Windows 10: I'm tired of the forced updates that are ruinning my work life.

Since this problem: Major errors with update 20H2 OS Build 19042.1052, errors showing since 20H2 OS Build 19042.867 in April. I've forbidden W10 from updating, I've messed with the services, I've postponed auto updates to max values and I even created a .bat file to prevent it from being forced upon. YET, here I'm. Today I've experienced four forced updates to which I had to return to a previous version and that is taking a toll on my work life and time.I need a way to prevent it from updating by itself ever again since I need to spend my time better than fixing harmful updates imposed by

Is there any method of permanently blocking updates from occurring? I was working on a few projects at work and stepped away from my pc for 20 minutes to handle another matter and these incessant updates decided it was going to autoupdate on me and I lost
all of my work. one thing I was working on was excel and there wasnt a recovered file to be had either. This is super frustrating and it feels like microsoft just keeps cramming its ideas for what we want down our throats. I would love a way to block all of
that, including any suggestions they have. Used to be that a personal computer was personal and you had control over what and when things happened.

I will gladly dispose of any "ruined computer" that Windows 10 has "ruined". Just ship them to me and I will take care of disposing of the "ruined" hardware!

 

Your forced update ruined my computer!

I have the blue screen of death, This is fraud, I did not want the update! My computer was fine prior to the update!

I gather the "fix" is to purchase yet another window based computer, to download some fix for your forced update! No Way! I went out and got another chromebook, the hp chroomebook 14x360 and I dont expect it to get bricked from any forced updates. As I have
other chroomebooks that have worked for a very long time, and still do work.

I will never buy a windows based product again. I will hang on to the one microsoft ruined, in case of a class action lawsuit. FRAUD!!!!
