    Hello. I have not been able to install the update for two days: 2021-07 Cumulative update for Windows 10 Version 21H1 for x64-based systems KB5004237 And today she has also come to this: 2021-07 Windows 10 Version 21H1 Cumulative Update Preview for x64-based Systems KB5004296 error code 0x800f0831 Help is appreciated, so far everything has been updated without any problems.     it was kb5004296

    the CU I installed a few days ago on the 15th was kb5004237 looking at WU history. but the update I installed today isn't showing in WU history.

    KB5004237 will not install!

    Three out of my four computers have installed KB5004237 without any problems - the remaining one stalls at 20%, and throws up error 0x800f081f.
    I have run sfc + dism + the update trouble-shooter to no avail.
    It would seem that I am missing certain data/ previous update from what I can gather. Is this a known problem? and is there a starting point for me to try.
    Windows update suggests that I am up to date.
    Any help appreciated - thanks.

    KB5004296 Windows 10 Insider RP 19043.1149 (21H1) or 19044.1149 (21H2) Insider

    It shows under "Other Updates" for me in Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View update history for me.
