Windows 10: low volume coming from my microphone except discord which works fine.

A week ago my microphone was working perfectly and all of a sudden the next day I try playing with my friends from the xbox app using my 6 month old microphone and all of a sudden they say they can't hear me until I put my microphone up really really close. It was really weird since I never really get problems and now I'm trying to fix it. I saw a recent question in this link Microphone volume low except on discord - Microsoft Community, and I tried every step and it didn't work even updated all my drivers and I even deleted my drivers than installed them back. Microphone not working (sometimes extremely low volume)

As you are unable to access microphone from your head phones, we will help you with this issue.

Do let us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

• How have you connected the headphones to your device?
• Have you tried to set the headphones as a default device and check?
• Have you made any changes to the operating system that might have resulted in this?

As a work around, try the below and update us the status of this issue:

• I suggest you to connect the headphones to different device and check if the microphone is working fine. This will help us to detect if the issue is with headphone.
• If headphones are working fine on other devices, try to connect the headphones to different ports on the PC in the question and check if it is working fine. This will help us to know if the issue is with ports.

After reinstalling Windows microphone sound really low.

Hey, I reinstalled Windows two days ago and with that came a problem where my microphone was so low to a point where my mates on Skype/Discord can barely hear me. I've turned the volume to 100 and even bought a new microphone but still the volume is really low. I have tried googling this problem but none of the googled answers worked because I have turned all the levels up and that is not the problem.

My windows version: 1909 (OS build:18363.752).
