Windows 10: Annoying Microsoft News Window keeps popping up and blocking my screen! How to get rid of it?

Just in the last few weeks, I am plagued by this large black box called Microsoft News or something that pops up on the right side of my screen, taking up half my screen and blocking whatever I am viewing or working on. When I scroll through it, there are news and weather articles, etc., but I can't find anywhere in the settings, etc. to turn it off! And anyone tell me how to get rid of this thing?

Very annoying pop-up


I keep seeing this very annoying pop-up but cannot work out how to stop it. It often pops up in Wordpad or Word, and in other places too.



It looks as if it is for people to write on with a tablet pen and Windows then interprets the handwriting to produce text, so should be in Ease of Access, but I cannot see where the option to kill it resides.

I hope someone can suggest a solution before I throw something at the screen.
