Windows 10: My laptop internet connection is stable at first and then slow time by time

So I have this problem for about a week nowMy laptop is Asus A455LF, with windows 10 version 21H1My internet connection is stable, and after about an hour or maybe less my internet getting slowI've tried many suggestions when i searched it myself, and I can't fix my problem at allI've tried troubleshoot it and it only temporarily fix my problem, and after a while it happens againI've tried to update or uninstall the driver and also can't fix thisCan someone help fix this problem of mine?Very appreciate the help

• What is the make and model of the laptop?
• What is the Windows 10 version and Build installed? (Type winver in Windows search/Run command)
• What type of internet connection are you using (wired/wireless)?
• Are you facing lag issue with any other device like a smart phone or a different laptop to the same network?
• Do you face the same issue connecting the Laptop to a different network?
• Did you try connecting the laptop using an Ethernet cable?

My internet keeps dropping out!


I suggest you connect your laptop to the router with a ethernet cable. If the wired connection is stable you know that there is nothing wrong with the internet connection itself and with your LAN. Next step would be to go to the website of your laptop manufacturer and look for the latest WLAN drivers. Install them and test whether it improves the reliability of your WLAN connection. Then post back the results.

 

since i got windows 10 version 1607, the internet connection is going slow

Hi,

I suggest you to run a Network troubleshooter by following the steps provided below:

• 
  Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
  
• 
  Click on “View All” which is on top left pane.
  
• 
  Select “Network Adapter” and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.
  

I would also suggest you to check if the date and time are correct on your computer. See below for help:

• 
  Check the setting for Date/Time by choosing the Desktop tile and then left click on the date/time in the corner.
  
• 
  Click on change date and time settings. And then verify the time zone is correct as well as the internet time tab has the option to Synchronize with Internet time server.
  

If the issue still persists, try disabling the proxy connection if you have any and check. Here is the steps:

• 
  Click the Gear box at the top right corner in internet explorer.
  
• 
  Click the Tools button, and then click
  Internet Options.
  
• 
  Click the Connections tab, and then click
  LAN settings.
  
• 
  Uncheck Use a proxy server for your
  LAN.
