Windows 10: How do I check my SSD temperatures/How can I get the Manage Disks and Volumes option.

I have tried a couple third party tools to no avail.All of the tips I can find online refer to a "Manage Disks and Volumes" link in the settings app but it does not exist.Tell me how to download and install this please.

SSD not being shown in disk management

• Have you tried connecting it to a different USB port?
• Have you checked if the SSD is visible in Device Manager? Follow these steps to verify if it is visible in Device Manager:
  
  • Right-click on Start and click-on Device Manager.
  • Click-on the Disk drive and check if it is there.
  • If it is visible, try to check if you can update its driver.

Extend Volume in disk managment not working

I suggest you to follow the exact steps mentioned below and check if you are able to perform the action.

• 
  Run Disk Management. Open Run Command (Windows button +R) a dialog box will open and type "diskmgmt.msc".
  
• 
  In the Disk Management screen, just right-click on the partition that you want to shrink, and select “Extend Volume” from the menu
  
• 
  Locate your system partition — that’s probably the C: partition. Right-click on it and select “Shrink Volume.” If you have multiple partitions on your hard drive, you could also choose to resize a different partition to free up
  space.

whoops i missed a step lol.



type in list volume..... your array volume should come up.... if so

type in Select volume 7
assign



let me know if your volume is not there.
