Windows 10: why are the updates are hateful and targeted to annoy people I am sure google results and...

Why any of these? 1. ultra frequent - feels like its always waiting for me to open the laptop so that it can get its first drug fix of the day 2nd and 3rd follow 2. ultra resource-consuming - it's supposed to work for me not to steal my resources and not let me work for myself too 3. ultra sneaky and insensitive - asking for restart doesn't help, downloading while I stream a movie or in between a zoom call hurts 4. ultra forceful - who cares I don't want an update just spare my laptop it's not yours 5. overwrites any other boot grub - just because windows likes to be on top of the boot seque

Clear "Pin suggested" list in People Bar

Does anybody know how to clear the "Pin suggested" list on the "People bar"?

Contacts are added to the "Pin suggested" list once you've pinned and unpinned them. But there seems to be no obvious way to remove them from that list.

After playing around with this feature and pinning and unpinning many dummy contacts, it's rather annoying to see them in the "Pin suggested" list when you click on the "My People" icon in the taskbar.

I can pin and unpin People contacts to the taskbar without problems, but these contacts will still show up on the "Pin suggested" list. It's this list I want to clear, because some contacts or double and some are dummy contacts. It's not that big of a deal, but it's rather annoying to have them suggested to me.

Thank you for offering some ideas.

When I am looking at my Google Contacts, I click 'Leave Contacts preview' and it returns to the old-style list of Google Contacts. All of my Contacts are listed on the left-hand side in a folder called 'My Contacts (891)'...891 being the number of contacts
which changes if I delete or add.

So - I think I am already doing as you suggest.....unless you think I have it configured wrongly?

Regarding the url click through...I think that is suggesting taking Google Contacts into Outlook and then connecting the People App to outlook. Would any additions, changes etc made to a contact in the People App flow back to the Google Contact and so sync
with other devices?
