  1. Task manager showing wrong ram speed.........

I want to upgrade my Sony Vaio laptop from 4gb ram to 8gb ram, and I wanted to check the speed of the ram module, so when I went to task manager, it shows the speed of the ram is 20307 mhz. And then I realized this is wrong. 20 THOUSAND 3 HUNDRED SEVEN mhz. What!? The ram sticks also don't show the speed when I opened it up and I'm pretty sure its very old.. So I was wondering, if I could change the ram sticks altogether. Will it work with the laptop? Or is there some limit to what the motherboard and processer can handle or something like that? I have posted the screenshot of task manager and

  2. Task Manager console displays innacurate RAM speeds

I have corsair Vengeance pro 16 GB ram 1866 mhz installed, Bios cpu z show it at this speed but task manager shows ram speed at 1400 mhz. Is this a cosmetic error for win 10? How do I fix it?

Wrong RAM speed in Windows Task Manager

Not true, mine shows 2800 MHz in Task Manager, and it`s default speed is 2133, like most high speed ram.

Faith, there is nothing wrong with having 2 XMP profiles, I bought 2666 and was quite happy when I saw 2800 along with 2666. Task manager showing wrong ram speed......... :)

Why don`t you just run it at 2800 MHz, there`s nothing wrong with having the voltage at 1.35, it`s totally normal. You have an X99 board and a 5820K, You should take full advantage of it.

And I don`t see DDR4 or "other" anywhere in my shot, post a snip of yours.

Task manager shows incorrect RAM speeds...

Hello! I have a Lenovo Y700 Gaming laptop! I recently checked Task manager and realized it incorrectly displays my RAM speed as 800 megahertz instead of the correct speed of 1600 megahertz! I was just wondering if this is a bug or not. I did a hardware scan
and it said nothing was wrong with the RAM, but i just want a verified answer of if it's a bug or not. Thank you!

    Full specs below:

    CPU: AMD-FX 8800P

    RAM: 8GB DDR3 (1600 megahertz, of course)

    GPU: AMD Radeon R9 M385x

    HDD: 1TB

    OS: Windows 10 64 bit
