Windows 10: Microsoft money Dlx Sunset error--keeps crashing and will not open. How do I fix or...

Hi,Have Microsoft Money Dlx Sunset and have been using it successfully for years. Great.Now it keeps crashing. I have deleted and reinstalled it and still keep getting same error message "Microsoft Money has stopped working."Any way to fix or is there another program I can use with Money backups? I use it just for my checking and savings accounts.Thank you for help.Rich

Microsoft Money Plus Sunset Deluxe

I had the same problem, that after updating to Windows 10, Money Plus Sunset would no longer work. It opened a small windows saying that Internet Explorer 6 is needed to run the program, and when one clicked the window to close, so would Money Plus Sunset.

The fix listed below completely solver the problem. Just changing a value in the registry did the trick. It all seems to work just fine now.
