Red color/shadow on text issue [Win10]?

Hello!I have an issue with my computer, which is a very annoying one. I do not know what it is and what to call it, but it looks like it is a red shadow/color/fuzz/blur that is appearing on any text at a fixed y-position on my monitor. I have some pictures showing the issue below, but also a video here: Video I have painted a red line in one of the pictures to show that the issue still occurs everywhere on that line. This means that if I have some text at that y position regardless of what x position on my monitor, this issue occurs. I got it recently maybe I have had this issue 3 weeks now.

    :)

    Red shadow by text

    Hi.
Have been lurking this place for a while now and noticed how friendly and helpful everyone seem to be.
I just got my new computer today and of course there is some issues, but the one I just can not figure out by myself (and some googling) is why my text has some strange red shadow.

I had this problem for a while on my old computer but there it was because of some issue in the ATI driver, which went away once they released a new version. I have not found anything said that would imply that it is the same issue here though.

So if anyone have any idea on how to fix this, I would be most grateful.

Attatched an image to show the issue, it is most apparent where the arrows are pointing, but can also be seen around almost all the blue text. Sometimes it is so bad it is very hard to read what it says.

EDIT: Hope I posted this in the right area, was not sure. Apologies if i got it wrong though.

Icon Label Text Color will NOT change and Drop Shadows will NOT go away!

I have pored over these threads and other forums and done everything that has been suggested to get rid of drop shadows on icon label text and they just keep coming back!

The icon label text is white and I want it to be black. There is no setting anywhere in Windows 10 to change this! In previous versions it was possible to change the background color, even if you are using a picture background, and that color forced the
icon label text to be either black or white based on that color. This is not possible in Windows 10. It is only possible to use EITHER a picture or background color, and the colors are VERY limited. And Windows decides for you the label text color.

I am a designer, and I find it important to keep mid grey tones in my background to make it easier to identify color casts in my work. And I want to set an appropriate label color. In this case BLACK with NO DROP SHADOW.

But my background apparently confuses the hell out of Windows 10 when trying to automatically set the label text based on my background. I'm surprised the developers didn't even think about this. There NEEDS TO BE a manual option!

I have noticed that sometimes after booting up everything is fine. This problem is very inconsistent.

However I have noticed that EVERY TIME I use the TaskView (or when I dock app windows at the edge of the screen, which also enables Task View mode) the text will change to white with a drop shadow. Then
the only thing to do is to reboot and hope it changes back.

This points to the fact that there is something SERIOUSLY WRONG with how this works.

And BTW yes, I have gone to advanced system settings and disabled drop shadow on icon text, and yes, the registry setting "ListviewShadow" is set to zero.

Is there ANYTHING I can do?

Red Text Issues on Olevia HDTV 1360x768

I've used two HDTV's as monitors and absolutely love it, the only issues I have is normal size red text, say the size of the lettering of this post, is very difficult to read and unclear. Any other color is fine which is weird to me. I actually got used to it as I'm not often exposed to small red text, the only thing that comes to mind is the "Yell" in World of Warcraft, but I changed the color to deal with it. Still, recently I've become curious what is causing this and if its something I can fix.

I initially had ghosting on both HDTV's, but I realize it was because I had Noise Reduction on. The second I turned that off I never had any ghosting issues again. I'm wondering if this red can be dealt with as well. Bolder and larger red text is easy to read, its just red text the size of this lettering. Is it the resolution, the brand, another issue? I've had two separate TVs with the same issue, I've used multiple HDMI-DVI cables. I was thinking of investing in a 1080p TV to game and browse at 1920x1080. I took a screen shot of another forum which has red text, to me its unreadable. I imagine looking at this file from another computer it'll look clear?
