  1. Cloning System Partition, Recreating EFI & Recovery partitions......

This guide is intended for educational purposes only.A fresh and clean installation is always the best thing to do, because in addition to a bug-free Windows experience, everything outside the Windows environment like the EFI partition, Recovery partition, and overall system integrity remains intact and well maintained. However, there are times when simply cloning the current system is preferred. This is not just to save time, but also because the existing system may contain drivers e.g. BootCamp drivers and other factors that setting up everything fresh becomes too much time consuming, and s

  2. Recovery and EFI partition instead of System Reserved partition

I forced reinstalled my windows 10 after my boot got corrupted by deleting linux on dual boot.

Now I used diskpart to wipe my SSD before I began installation. When the Win10 installation is finished. I noticed that I have Recovery and EFI Partitions on Disk management. I'm expecting System Reserved Partition because based on some forums, you can only
get System Reserved Partition if you successfully clean installed the windows 10.

so that I think I believed that I didn't clean install my Windows 10 because im getting Recovery and EFI partitions.

Please help how to can i get only System Reserved Partition not Recovery and EFI.

  3. EFI system partition, OEM partition

    Hi,

My W10 system came installed on a standard 500GB drive c: (Laptop).

I subsequently had the system cloned onto a SSD for speed (new c: drive) and use the old drive (now e: )for data only. Now I have an EFI system partition, numerous recovery partitions, OEM partition on both drives.

I have recently been getting numerous disk errors (appears to be software related - diskscan shows no errors) and am trying to clean up everything while tracing the error.

My question is:- Do I need all these partitions on my e: drive, and if not can I delete all these partitions on the e: drive, and reinitialize the drive? Will probably use DISKPART to do this.

Recovery and EFI partition instead of System Reserved partition

    Hi Gid'-alert(1)-'

If your disk was formatted with the GPT partition style, your system has UEFI and you will not have a System Reserved Partition, you will only have Recovery and EFI Partitions, this is correct . . .

It is only if your drive war formatted to MBR, then Windows would have been loaded in Legacy BIOS and you would have the System Reserved Partition

You have nothing to worry about, your system was indeed wiped before Windows was installed . . .
