    Hi guys,please I need some help.Friend asked me to clean install windows on his laptop Sony .Processor is IntelR Pentium R CPU B970 @2,30GHz with installed memory 4GB RAM.He need laptop only for browsing and Microsoft Word. No gaming.What -bit version is more propriate for this laptop, 64bit or 32 bit Windows 10 home edition.Thank you,Karlo

    Run 64bit Windows on 32bit UEFI that on 64 bit Processor


    i managed to install 32bit windows 10 on my laptop

    specs
    - 320gb hdd
    - 4gb ram ( upgraded from 2gb )
    - intel atom

    the reason i want 64bit windows is for me to access the full 4gb ram ( 3gb usable on 32bit windows )

    or is there an Pae patch for windows 10 already?

    upgrade to 4GB RAM and want to switch to 64 bit version

    You do not install 64 bits unless you have more than 4gb of ram. 3.5 is the max you can utilize with either 32 -64 version. Your cpu must be capable of 64 bits too. Your cpu sounds like it is not capable.
