  1. Wireless adaptor detects the network but doesn't accept the password Windows Vista

I have an old HP notebook running Windows Vista 32bit. I bought an adaptor TP-Link TL-WN823N because of previous network problems, for which I blamed the wireless card. What happens now is that it can list all the available networks, however it can't connect when I type the password. I made a test disabling temporarily the security, bypassing the password, and I'm able to connect! How could I fix that? These are some configurations of the router in WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK:Channel: AutoMode: 11b/g/n mixed But I tried several optionsChannel bandwidth: AutoWPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK: Auto Tried both versio

    :)

No wireless network adaptor? Help Please.

The wife has a laptop, Compaq V6000 Vista 64, Windows is up to date and so are all the drivers.
She connects to the net wireless. Today it lost connection and I cant get it to connect again. It connects if I plug it in.

Windows says " This computer does not have a wireless network adaptor installed and configured."

Is the wireless card dead? and are they easy to replace?

    Vista or XP?

You need to go in and delete the network. Then it will pick it up again, and ask you to enter the key again.

On Vista, you do this by going into Networking and Sharing Center. The click on Customize, then click on Merge or delete network locations. Find the SSID of the router in the list, and delete it.

On XP, I believe you have to go to Network Connections, then right click on your Wireless Adaptor. Go to Status, and there should be a button to Manage Wireless Networks, that should take you to where you need to be to delete the network.

Changed my Microsoft account password but windows login keeps accepting old password

    Hi,

I have a Microsoft account (to be specific, it's a Passport account. I created it with a gmail account) and I recently changed my password and activated two-step verification with Microsoft Authenticator app.

The new password works perfectly in any web page, but doesn´t work when I try to login in my notebook. Windows login keeps accepting old password, and doesn´t accept the new one.

Am I doing something wrong or this is some kind of bug?

    Thanks.
