  1. Mobile Broadband connection issue

Hello, win10 on HP Elite book 8470p is blocking mobile broadband access. SIM card is fine, just tried it in neighbours computer. I am with Optus, their support techs say "everything is ok" on their network. SIM card check agrees. Yesterday while in Network & Internet Settings I noticed in one place was the statement "Connected" in the same area another place stated "Not connected". Can I manually configure APN settings to bypass the mischievous win10?Or what else to do?

    :)

  2. Data trough 4G mobile broadband connection blocked when ethernet connected

    Hi Robert,

It appears that Windows is managing your connection. It only allows you to connect to your mobile broadband connection if you're not connected to either Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. To work around this behavior, I suggest disabling this feature to allow
you to manually connect to your cellular or mobile connection. Please follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to Settings > Network & Internet > Cellular.
    2. Uncheck the box for Let Windows manage this connection.
    3. Once done, try connecting manually to your mobile broadband while Ethernet is connected and see if it works.

Please update this thread with the result so I'll be able to assist you further if needed.

    Regards.

Mobile broadband connection sharing with Hyper-V

I have to share my Dell E5450 internal mobile broadband internet connection with some Hyper-V virtual machines.

The OS is Windows 10 PRO updated to the anniversary edition.

I tried several ways and tutorials, but unfortunately, despite to the working solution for the WiFi card, the mobile broadband modem does not allow to add itself to the bridge.

Does anybody known how to share the mobile connection with the Hyper-V virtual machines?

    Thank you so much!
