  1. Unable to copy Mac originated files from Btrfs NAS to windows

I have jpg 614kb image that came via a Mac. Drag and drop from Synology volume to anywhere on win10 or win11 causes error "file is no longer there"I asked over at Synology forum but have not got answer yet.Windows has no problem accessing the file, just cannot copy it.I can open the file in edit mode then save it on the destination windows system. The file is only 610kb so lost about 4kb of probably Mac meta data. Just guessing.OR I can put a flash drive in the NAS and use the NAS File System to copy the 614kb file to the flas

  2. Unable to open file on a NAS Drobo 5N when file is created in MacOs

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand your concern as you are unable to copy any file from NAS drive that is created on a MAC and uploaded it on NAS. We appreciate your effort in providing us the video demonstration.

It’s very surprising, that the file created in Windows 10 can be accessed on a MAC but the issue occurs on the other way round.

Let me point you in the right direction, where you would get the appropriate help for this issue. I would suggest you to post your query in
TechNet forums, where we have experts and support professionals
who are well equipped with the knowledge on NAS drive
to assist you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps.

    Regards,

    Java.nio.file - Copying files

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one

  4. Unable to copy Mac originated files from Btrfs NAS to windows

Unable to copy and paste to NAS drive

Since the last big update to W10 I cannot copy and paste files to my NAS drive. Copy seems to work as usual but when I try to paste that option is greyed out. I have 2 machines with the same problem. I use the NAS drive as my back up as well and don't
know if thats working. I'm totally computer illiterate so any suggestions will need to be simple . All I know is one minute it was working as it has been for the last 3 years and then kaput!
