  1. Preventing windows from trying to automatically logging in to a terminated account

Hello everyone,So I came back a few months ago from an exchange program to the University of Edinburgh. For the academic year there I had an university account that could be used for Outlook, Onedrive, Teams, etc. Now that I'm back to my home university, my UoE account has obviously been terminated and I can't log in to it anymore, however, windows automatically tries to log in to it, showing up the UoE's connection page. see screenshot. I can't log in since the account is terminated, closing the window opens it back automatically, and hitting "Cancel" while it connects to the UoE's authenti

    How-to enable auto log-on in Windows 7?

I need the computer to boot and then automatically log into Windows 7.

The account would automatically log into a standard account (non-admin) with no password.

However, I also have another account in that same computer (which is an admin account).

If I was to enable auto log-on into this computer, how would I be able to log into the administrator account that I have later if it skips the log-in screen?

  3. How to Prevent IE from Automatically Logging In to Office 365

    Hi,

It's odd that even after clearing the cache and cookies of the browser that you're using for your Office 365 login, the credentials of your account are still saved and let you to automatically log in. We appreciate that you tried to resolve your concern
by checking the steps on the link that you provided. However, we suggest that you change your account password, then clear the cache and cookies again of the browser that you're using. Once done, check if the automatic log in persists. We also suggest that
you reset the settings of the browser that you're using. Follow the steps in this
article if you're using Internet Explorer.

We're looking forward to your feedback.

Settings can't be opened using the built-in administrator account

    Hello,
Unfortunately I have the same issue as Dabz from upgrading win7 to win10.
I've tried opening settings using all the suggested methods and it will not load using my account with Administrator access nor the built-in Administrator profile. I also tried other methods not listed such as using Run. Control panel is just a stepping stone to add users in Settings.
I'm also having explorer.exe issues, which I believe is preventing Settings from loading.
Using cmd (Admin) I successfully created a new user profile [and granted admin access also using cmd (Admin)], however win10 will not allow this account to log on. win10 does not list this new user within control panel but it does in the start menu. win10 will not allow to log in or switch to the new account via the start menu either.
I can access settings in Safe Mode but this will not allow me to create a new account.
Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
