Windows 10: AOIC.exe has stopped working

    AOIC.exe has stopped working


    I have a dell computer running windows 8.1 and a Dell All in One printer. When I try to open the All in One Center I get a dialog box saying AIOC.exe has stopped working. I have reloaded the printer software but still getting the same message. Its says windows is looking for a solution. Can anyone help me?

    It is possible that you .exe is not working due to corrupted system files or account. To assist you better, kindly answer the following questions:

    • Does this happen with a specific application or with all of your application?
    • Have you tried creating a new admin account to check if the issue also with new account or only with the current account?

    Hello Vasudevan,

    You might be facing this issue due to the incompatibility of the program with Windows 10 also. So I suggest you to install the program in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

    Now, to install in Compatibility Mode, follow these steps:

    a. Locate the executable file (.exe file) for the driver installation program.

    b. Right-click the file, and then click Properties.

    c. In the Package Name Properties dialog box, click the Compatibility tab.

    d. Click to select the Run this program in compatibility mode for check box, click Windows 8.1\ Windows 7 with which it is compatible with in the Run this program in compatibility mode for list, and
    then click OK.

    e. Double-click the executable file to start the installation program.

    AOIC.exe has stopped working

    Windows 10 infinite restart black screen


    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
