Windows 10: Flash Access Denied

For those of you who might recognize this, Yes, I am still trying to get Windows 10 back on my wife's Dimensions E521 which is sitting in a wiped condition with all of the BIOS that could be set reset to factory settings and boot sequence at: Harddrive, On board disc player, and USB The first thing I did was to create a Win 10 USB installation tool and when I put in the target computer,, I got "Invalid Partition Table". The first thing I read about that was that the BIOS version had to be updated and rightly so, since the machine has 1.1.6 on it and as I understand it, the last version is

This can occur for one or more of the following reasons:

• The folder ownership may have changed.
• You do not have the proper permissions.
• The file may be encrypted.

To resolve this issue, the first step is to run CHKDSK. It detects and fix disk corruption. To run CHKDSK, follow these steps:

• Press Win+X.
• Select Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the window that opens enter your CHKDSK command.

After following the steps suggested, I get the message "Access denied" in command prompt.

Please advise how to allow permission.

 

access of flash drive denied

My laptop is running Windows 10 and I was suddenly denied access to one of my flash drives. I can access other drives.
