Windows 10: Word file shows only sharps

Today, I tried to open a file I have been working on for quite a long time on my laptop, but all it showed was eleven pages of sharps. Nothing but sharps!I rebooted my laptop and scanned it as well, in case it helps, but nothing changed.Furthermore, among the word files, this is the only one I am requested to pick a language and a fond for, before it opens.Is it something that can be fixed or the sooner I start lamenting the better?Thank you in advance for your answer.

I have a lot of ms word files on my pc. But one of them showed me an error - Getting unknown error messages while opening (.doc) or (.docx) files. I don't know how to open my word file or repair microsoft word. Any suggestions, guys, please.

I understand that you want to disable word suggestions when you type any word. I’ll certainly help you with the steps.



To disable text suggestions, I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows Logo key + I, to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Devices, and click on
   Typing on the left pane.
   
3. Now, under Typing toggle the switch to off for
   Show text suggestions as I type on the software keyboard.
   
4. Under Hardware keyboard, toggle the switch to on for
   Show text suggestions as I type.

Sharp XR-30X driver for Win10

Hi Susan,

I suggest you to visit the Manufacturer's website and download Windows 8 or Windows 7 drivers in compatibility mode.

Data Projectors : SHARP

Follow the steps below.

• 
  Download the setup files for the driver and save it on your local disk.
  
• 
  Right click on the setup file of the driver and select
  “Properties”.
  
• 
  Select “Compatibility” Tab.
  
• 
  Place a check mark next to“Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.
  
• 
  Let the driver install and then check thefunctionality.
