Windows 10: Laptop Sound keeps changing it's self Up and Down

I'm having a problem with my laptop soundIt keeps going up and down without me doing anything to itI have tried different drivers but the problem persists It happens on everything from games to the internetIt's as if I have a virus but no antivirus software picks it upI even got remote assistance from microsoft but they couldn't figure it outanyone help ?

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

start up sound not changing

The option to change the sound for Windows Logon and Logoff is ideally hidden from the list in Sound Options by default.

However, although not recommended, if you want the option for customization, you can make couple of changes in the registry to enable the option.



I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to fix the issue.



Step 1

Registry modification

Note: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully.
For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

1. Open the run command, type in regedit and hit
   Enter.
   
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/AppEvents/EventLabels/WindowsLogon.
   
3. Open the WindowsLogon folder.
   
4. Double click on ExcludefromCPL key.
   
5. Change the value from 1 to 0. Click on OK
   

Step 2

1. Open the Control Panel > Sound > Click on
   Sound tab.
   
2. Scroll down and select Windows Logon Entry.
   
3. Click Browse to search your computer for a replacement sound.
   
4. Shut down the device.
   
5. Restart the device and check the status of the issue.
