Windows 10: DCOM EVENT 10016 Crash

Hi. I am desperate. My PC started crashing while I was gaming 5 min into a match and the only errors shown in Event Viewer are these I already deleted everything and it was fine for a couple of weeks but not anymore: The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {6B3B8D23-FA8D-40B9-8DBD-B950333E2C52} and APPID {4839DDB7-58C2-48F5-8283-E1D1807D0D7D} to the user NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SE

DCOM event ID 10016 logged in Windows

The 10016 events are triggered when a Microsoft component tries to access DCOM components without having permissions to access them.



These events can be safely ignored, they do not have any adverse effect on the functionality of your computer.

Event error 10016, causes pc to crash and reboot

Hi,

Event ID 10016 means a program, the Clsid displayed in the message, tried to start the DCOM server by using the DCOM infrastructure. Based on the security ID (SID), this user does not have the necessary permissions to start the DCOM server.

We recommend that you follow the troubleshooting steps provided on this

In general, the event 10016 can safely be ignored because they do not adversely affect functionality
and are by design. When your computer crashed, did you encounter a blue screen error and a stop code? Have you tried any other troubleshooting steps yet?
