Win 11 Photo app is overexposing my photos - advice?

Hi all,I just noticed something strange when looking at photos in the Win 11 photos app.I've imported all photos from my iPhone. When I open them the Win 11 photos app opens and shows me the picture. For the first second all is fine, it's the picture as it should be, but after half a second, it's like it's applying some effects and almost all the pictures are overexposed when the light comes in. At first, I thought something was wrong with the photos, but when I open it in Paint, for instance, it was normal. On my Mac or iPhone, they are also normal. I'm wondering if anyone can help? It's fairl

    :)

    Replacement for photo viewer

I just use the Photos app for a quick view, otherwise I use Adobe Lightroom to view and edit photos.

  3. Photos are opening with Paint instead of Photos app

    Hello,

It's likely that your default application for opening photos is Paint. To change your default program in Windows 10 from
Paint to the Photo app, we suggest that you perform the following steps:

    • On the Start menu, select Settings.
    • Go to System, then go to Default apps.
    • Select Photos or any app that you like to be the default under
      Photo viewer.

Update us if the steps above helped you in resolving your concern.
