Windows 10: Onedrive corrupted many software projects

HELP! Microsoft onedrive has corrupted many files by changing the name from “myfile” to “myfile-dekstop”. This happened when I bought a new laptop, and signed in to my microsoft account with the new laptop. I then tried to access my onedrive folder and found out that all my projects where outdated. Then I had a look at my old laptop and found out onedrive was not synching anymore probably has not been synching for months already for unknown reasons. I reset onedrive on my old laptop and then it started uploading all the files that it had not uploaded for quite some time. And now I found out

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

 

Issue with accessing pictures from Scandisk using Nikon Picture Project

This issue may occur if Nikon Picture Project software is corrupted.

I suggest you to uninstall and re-install the Nikon Picture Project software. Check if it helps.

To uninstall the software follow these steps:

  Right-click on
  Start Button and click on Programs and Features.
  
• 
  Right-click on the
  Nikon Picture Project software and click on
  Uninstall.
  

Note: Make sure you have the installation media for
Nikon Picture Project software before uninstalling it.

Now reinstall Nikon Picture Project software and check if it works.
