    My ethernet port occasionally disables itself because it detects an error, code 43, value 0000002B.Upon starting my PC, this ethernet port works just fine. Occasionally, it will become disabled, most commonly while I am playing games. This occurs both when I have an Xbox controller plugged in and when it is not plugged in. Upon opening Device Manager, the ethernet port has a red triangle with an exclamation mark, returning code 43 error. Upon going to properties and checking the problem code, it shows 0000002B. I have also run the troubleshooter which shows that in this state, it is likely dis

    Tried the Network Troubleshooter several times but no luck.

    When I checked the driver:

    Intel(R) 82574L Gigabit Network Connection, Driver date 4/5/2016, version 12.15.22.6

    there was no option for Compatibility Mode in properties.

    I tried to update the driver but it said "The best drivers for your device are already installed."

    Perhaps I need a different or newer driver? Any other suggestions would be appreciated!!

    I repeat the question: what is the version of the driver currently in use of the Intel (R) 82574L Gigabit Network Connection network adapter?

    Go to Device Management> network adapters, click on Intel (R) 82574L Gigabit Network Connection network adapter> Properties> Driver, report the date and version of the driver.

    You have probably installed an incompatible driver version for your network card model.
