Windows 10: Cannot find Virus from scan?

Hello, I've been having issues with a virus that's on my computer. A couple of days ago I must've downloaded something that windows anti-virus quarantined or deleted, but thinking it was just windows trying to remove the file I restored it only to see windows did need to remove the file because it contained a trojan. So I removed it myself and did a quick scan to make sure it was gone for good. However, only a couple of hours later, as I'm playing a game off of steam, my whole computer just shuts off and will not turn on. I reconnected the PSU, checked wiring and everything, and after 10 minut

If not, suggests deeper problems. To which uninstall option are you referring? (A picture is worth...)

Yes that's exactly what I have. If you notice there is an uninstall option next to organize if you scroll to other updates ie. office, but it will disappear once you scroll to the latest updates.

 

Virus Scan ONLY tool?

I was using Malwarebytes to run scans on things I downloaded to make sure they're clean before I run them... but now Malwarebytes wants to run constantly and wants to do virus scans all the time, even though I told it not to (I'll scan a single file then it starts another threat scan on its own).

Are there any good tools that do virus scanning only?
