Windows 10: have a problem when installing Windows to my USB using Belena etcher on Linux Ubuntu

Hello, I have a problem when installing Windows to my USB using Belena etcher on Linux Ubuntu it keeps saying in the installation process for Windows 11, "media driver missing" I can't use Windows 11 Installation Media Creation Tool because I am on Linux. Can anyone please tell me why this is happening via the solution to this problem?Specs:CPU: 11th Gen Intel i7-11800H 16 @ 4.600GHzGPU: Intel TigerLake-H GT1 [UHD Graphics]GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti MobileRam: 16gbCurrent OS: Pop OSUbuntu kde

USB with linux plugged in causes BSOD on WIndows 10

Thank you for your reply but this is besides the point..

As I stated my Windows system even crashes after I have created a bootable linux USB stick/ SD-card (using etcher, rufus etc.) and leave it in the drive. Dual booting works just fine, Ubuntu runs just fine, it is the fact that Windows keeps crashing that
gives me problems.

Even if I take your advise: My windows 10 would probably crash when creating the USB key for ubuntu installation.

 

Planning on installing Linux (Ubuntu?) for the first time

I have a very old laptop which slow as hell, so I want to install Linux on it and give it to my mum (she literally just browses the internet)

I've never used Linux before, but I've read you can boot linux and run it from a USB stick; I want to do this first before installing it to the hard drive to see what it's like

I've tried this , but it says "an error occured while executing syslinux. Your USB drive won't be bootable" *Frown

Also on the drop down list provided in the install app, which version of Ubuntu should I install? 'cos there's loadsss

I did this step this morning just in case it wanted to act differently. Same issue though. error 0xc000007b and 0xc0000021a
