Windows 10: cancel subscription

I cant unlink my debit card because it says it is associated with an azure subscription. There is no option to delete or cancel an azure subscription. Microsoft support just sends me on an infinite loop to the azure website who then directs me to call Microsoft support. I do not want to delete my Microsoft account because I have had it for years but I don't know what else to do.

Cancelling a past due subscription.

So I bought the free trial to Realms Plus for Minecraft Windows 10 Edition, and once it was over, cancelled the subscription. Except, the subscription didnt cancel, and as I didn't have the necessary funds in my payment method, it is now listed as a "past-due
subscription". I cannot cancel it, and the only option I have is to pay the subscription, which I can't do. Is there any way for me to cancel this???
