Windows 10: Can't access my HP PC.

This has been going on for a week now. I have tired every step I can find online, and it feels weird because it seems as if I'm the only one who can't access their PC and is stuck in such an uncomfortable situation. I can turn the PC off and when it's turned back on, it makes a beep, turns fully on and makes another beep, then tells me to boot it by pressing F1. When I do, it's just stuck on "Attempting Boot From CD-ROM," and "Attempting Boot From Hard Drive." Please help.

Unable to access HP Simple Pass to Sign-in to the computer on Windows 10

• Do let us know the make and model of your computer?
• Have you installed HP simple pass software on your computer?

Try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

• Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
• Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The
  HP Recovery Manager opens.
• Click Software program re-installation, Next , select
  HP SimplePass for the listing and then follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall application

I need help getting into a hp envy sleekbook as I forgot my password and I can't access my computer. .and suggestions

 

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

• I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

• Then I tried to remove the Pictures folder with option one at Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials. Even after rebooting, the Pictures folder remained.
• So I tried using option two. Same thing: reboot >> Pictures folder still there.

• Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.

That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.
