    Windows Update Error Code 0x80080005


    I currently have the 1903 version of Windows 10 and tried updating for the newer version but I keep getting error code 0x80080005. I have tried to troubleshoot the problem and it says it's fixed but when I try and update again, I get the same error code. Please help

    Sorry? Have you got the correct Tweaking .com's repair tool? Or followed the steps to the end where you actually do the numbered repairs?

    Of course, you can just go to Safe Mode, launch the program, and directly run the repairs, missing the preparation... not the best of ideas. It's designed to give you ways of going back if something goes wrong by creating a restore point, registry backup... then doing the repairs.
