  1. Can't open local file becasue network path not available

Hi.I'm having a strange issue on a machine where I download an exe, and when I try to run it windows says it cannot open the file becasue the network location is not available. Not sure why windows thinks this is a network location when the was was just downloaded to the local downloads folder.I disabled the AV software to see if that was the issue but it did not seem to help. What else can I look into for this issue?

    :)

Please give steps to open the paths to Program Files

If you want to open File Explorer to your C: drive without any registry tweaks, you'll need to do so from a shortcut you create.

    1. Open File Explorer to This PC.
    2. Right-click Winndows (CCan't open local file becasue network path not available :) and select Create Shortcut:

    3. Clock OK in the altert dialog:

Can't open local file becasue network path not available [IMG]
    4. And you'll have a shortcut on your Desktop:

Available Networks Not Showing in Windows 10

Recently my list of WiFi Networks has stopped displaying when I am logged-in to my Local Windows 10 Account. 'Show Available Networks' does not show any networks.

This is a display issue not a network issue. There is nothing wrong with the core network management system and network trouble shooting steps are pointless.

I am able to show a list of networks by logging-out of my local windows 10 account and using the network connection manager from the 'Login' screen. Within my local Windows 10 account I can use netsh wlan commands to fully manage my wireless networks.

When I try to 'List Available Networks' when logged-in to Local Windows 10 account, I get an error logged in the windows event viewer logs:

    Code:

Any suggestions on how to restore my network list display?
