    Is there a way to make sure the windows store is auto updating?


    So I have a windows 10 enterprise environment and I would like to know. Is there is a way I can force or make sure that the windows store is auto updating itself?

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    I suggest you to follow the below steps and then try to download the applications from the Windows store.

    1) Open Command Prompt with administrative privileges.

    2) Type following commands one by one:

    • net stop wuauserv
    • cd\windows
    • rename SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bck
    • net start wuauserv
    For Taskbar issue try to follow the below steps and check if it helps.



    1) Type and Open Taskbar and start menu properties from the search box.

    2) Make sure that you have unchecked the auto hide the taskbar.

    Let us know the status of the issue.

    Microsoft Auto-Updates Components of Windows Without User Permission

    The nine files that are updated all have to do with the Auto-Updater itself.
    The article lists them all. No big deal.

    I run auto-update anyway, so BRING ON THE NEW UPDATES !!!
    I have yet to experience any problems from MS updates on my XP network.
