Windows 10: Cannot Change Default Documents Directory in Windows 10

EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED!I just installed a fresh install of Windows 10 to get rid of the horrible Windows 11 and have not been able to change the default Documents directory to my second 2 TB hard drive. I was able to change all other defaults to the D:\ drive.It was initially installed with OneDrive\Documents as the default directory WHY!!!. I uninstalled OneDrive and the default directory remains in OneDrive. I have used regedit.exe to change the default directory to both the C:\user\Documents and D:\Documents one try each and it still remains at OneDrive!!! After all of the above, I st

Changing the default directories on Omnia

Is it possible to change the default directories on the Omnia.

Ideally I want to change the default my documents and sub folders to my storage/my documents/ and same for the default program installation path instead of programs I would like it to be my storage/programs/

Also I know there is a registry hack to change the ringtone default directory, is there one to change the default SMS / Alarms tone directory?

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Altering the Documents Directory Changes the Folder Name

I set up my Documents folder location to use the D drive on my computer and now it is stuck with the folder name D:/ - however when I go into properties it says that it is Documents. How can I get it to change the folder name back to Documents?

Edit:
Steps I took were...

1. RMB Documents (in sidebar under Quick Access)
   
2. Location - Move/Change to D:/
   
3. Save
   

Now by default any documents saved to the Documents folder will be saved to the drive D:/ (Documents) rather than in the C:/Users/
