Windows 10: Mass Storage Class stops working when VID/PID is added to custom INF file

We have developed a device that has a USB port for communication with a PC. The firmware for this device references the DeviceInterfaceGUID that is specified in the custom INF file of the USB driver on the PC. The firmware also has code that transfers data files between the PC and itself over the USB port by using the Mass Storage Class. The USB driver on the PC follows the instructions given at WinUSB Winusb.sys installation for developers - Windows drivers Microsoft Learn in the section labeled “Writing a custom INF for WinUSB installation”. PID customizer

I wanted to make a script that can customize a pid of its own, PID or Process ID is a random digit number, and no matter what I find in the net i cannot make a custom PID, any built in commands to do so

 

USB Mass Storage Q and 9300i

9300i does not have mass storage, but you can get it to work over bluetooth with isync (just check apple isync pages). e61 has in addition the mass storage class.

 

Nokia 808 fails to record video to mass storage

Hi, I have back up to the PC all the vids and photos previously recorded and will delete all the items to try and get the mass storage working for recording videos again. Just wondering if there was a way to format so the whoel mass storage is clean.
