Windows 10: "Sleep" option is missing. Win11, Ryzen HP Pavillion laptop

Hi!I'm using a Ryzen HP Pavillion PC 14-ec0000 Laptop. Running Win11, 22H2 build 22621.900.. I've also downloaded and installed Ryzen/AMD drivers.For some reason, last week or so, the "sleep" option disappeared from my laptop. It's not part of the shut-down options. And if I go to power options there's no way to add it back.I've done powercfg /a - and it seems to say the system supports no variant of "sleep".I have reset BIOS settings, and formatted my computer, with zero luck.I've done some googling but haven't really found a solution. I've seen some posts claiming it's a current Ryzen issu

Win10/HP Pavillion - PIN "unavailable"

Using Win10 on an HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop

PIN went away. Now when I go into create a PIN I get "Something went wrong. Try again later". The step prior is: Start.>Settings>Accounts>Sign in Options>Windows Hello PIN and it reads "This options is currently unavailable - click to learn more". I
followed the steps suggested, but they don't work

Suggestions?.

 

Computer Sleep Option Missing in Settings

The Settings Power and Sleep menu in Settings should list Screen and Sleep, where Sleep is used to tell when the PC goes to sleep. Sleep is missing, so my computer never sleeps. Fast startup and Hibernate are not enabled.

I used Tutorial Add or Remove Sleep in Power menu in Windows 10 to change the registry while in administrative mode, but sleep still is not seen.


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FlyoutMenuSettings now lists :1: It was 0 before the change.

I used Option 3 to add sleep using the Group Policy Editor. The steps seemed to work fine, but sleep is still missing.

I’m using a “new” refurbished Dell T3500 workstation with mbr running the current version of win10. I have a number of these computers, and the other all have the normal sleep mode .

Any suggestions? Jim

 

HP Pavillion Laptop Windows 10 Power and Sleep Settings

HP Pavillion Laptop Windows 10 Power and Sleep Settings: Sleep/Never but computer shuts down and I have to constantly sign back in.

Where is there a "shut down" command imbedded that I can't see? How can I fix this? I want the computer to shut down
only if I manually do it.
