Windows 10: why won't it accept the Microsoft loggin details to access the pc with the same login details?

I have a two windows 10 machines, one Home, one pro. Both with the same online Microsoft sign in. However those sign in details won't allow me to connect to the pro pc shared folder nor let me connect via remote desktop to the pro machine. As it's the only user account on both PC's, why won't it accept the loggin details?

After Windows 10 update, signin screen won`t accept my pssword.

Sign-in screen won`t take my password after Windows 10 update on a new HP laptop. I had setup a pin login but now asks for Microsoft password which I wrote down and have used before but will not accept now.

I don't need full control, i need to be able to access files from the HDD of anther machine, something that was easy when you use local login details for each machine, but it is now using Microsoft account to login, i cannot access the shares on the other
machine..

Hi, wondering if someone can help,

I decided to reset my PC as everything of importance was moved to a new one, reset seemed to run fine, but when i get to the login screen it won't accept my email and password, nor will it accept any of the other 3 account i have access to, (these all work and i am able to sign into them with a different computer), now all the advise I have seen tell me to go into safe mode, which would be fine, but it wont launch, I've tried holding shift while clicking restart from the login screen but that just restarts as normal, I've tried holding every f key, esc, del and any other key i could think of to try to get to the bios, but non of that worked and i also tried crashing the loading several time to force it to enter safe mode. (that just caused a black screen with no monitor input) also win + R wont open the command prompt either so that line of attack is gone as well, I've even tried pulling the battery from the mother board just to see if it would do anything, so sort of stuck any suggestion?
