Windows 10: Windows is begging me to switch to Mac with their idiotic bass-up audio updates.

This morning i opened my computer (Windows 10) and audio will not play from my speakers. Last night they worked. Some kind of WASABI error. After finally getting them to work (choosing different output holes) the sound was all bassed-up. Very muddy. Here's a message and a warning to Windows 10 makers: i will not update my sound card driver any more. I'm done.

This never happened in windows 7, XP, 2000, 95. What kind of bafoons you've got working there? Why would anyone want to bass up their shit? Why are you forcing this bloat on me? I have a mac on the shelf here. The switch will be easy.

On a sidenote, i just remembered, my older bro is also on Win 10, and i am the hacker who always solves everything. And he has had this bass-up audio on his Win10 machine also, for a year now and i, for the love of god, cannot solve it. He is not listening music on the laptop because the mudded up bass settings. I have tried updating his driver for a year, 4 different times and i'm pulling hairs each time but cannot figure this out.

audio has no bass

after reinstalling windows 10 and updating it the audio on headset has no bass when i reinstall the audio driver it can detect that the headphones and name changes from speakers/headphones to only headphones but the driver automatically updates itself
and it sticks to speakers/headphones and has no bass, i've tried removing automatic driver updates but it still updates the audio driver which has no bass the older driver seems to work way better than the new.

Try these. My friend had a similar problem, I followed the steps in the first link and fixed it. Before you try these; have you updated your OS? It may be a driver problem.

Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 (Realtek) - No bass/sub-woofer

• Speaker Setup plays all speakers fine
• Applications do not play any bass through subwoofer (or really, at all)
• Custom built PC using Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard onboard audio.
• Windows 10 fresh install
• Tried latest driver from Gigabyte, Realtek, and Microsoft
• Windows "default" driver does play bass through sub-woofer, but audio stutters and is quiet.

Not sure what else is relevant to mention; I've tried following various posts with suggestions to fix this, with no success. I've been at this for quite a few hours and am very frustrated.
