Windows 10: Windows 11 won't scan to smb.

Discus and support Windows 11 won't scan to smb. in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I had windows 10. I set everything the same. Advance sharing, firewall, folder permissions.     Windows 11 won't scan to smb.


    I had windows 10. I set everything the same. Advance sharing, firewall, folder permissions. Even tried setting smb1. What did they change? Reminds me of when this happened with Windows 10 & we had to set smb1.

    Maybe I Install a Windows 7 again, At least, all of my games run smoothly ...Sadness!!

    • Did you make any changes to your computer prior to this issue?

    Scan to Folder with SMB

    We were given a Copystar CS 4551ci printer for our office. I am having an issue setting up the Scan to Folder function. It uses SMB. I can set up two of our 8 PC's to scan to a local folder on the machines C: drive. When I try to set up the others I can not establish a connection. There is a difference between the two machines that work and the 6 that don't. The working machines log into local accounts on the PC. The printer will scan to the Scan Folder on those machines. The other machines log into onmicrosoft.com accounts. I have not been able to get the printer and those machines to authenticate. So the issue is something to do with onmicrosoft.com settings or configuration. The printer is not a new one so it uses 1.0 TLS protocol to log into it remotely. Any suggestions?
