    this problem, moving over to the adminstrater is MSN's usual **** ups

    When a new computer is fired up by the owner, for the first time, the

    computer should ask the user if they wish to be the adminstrater.

    I have the Mcgraft (sp?) software, free from the first but now just an

    unpaid for piece of junk that comes up from time to time selling itself

    that only the administrator may delete

    MSN the **** of the world IMO

    No login password craziness

    Brink, that was the missing step. What threw me off was in netplwiz, where it asks about password for my MS account, the user name was not the same as my MS account name. Once I entered the password (twice) I can now login without entering a password. In fact the name that was listed was not the MS account name, but a folder name. The folder is the one that shows when you click on C:\Users.

    You can reset the Admin Password using Windows XP repair; See Here for step by step.
