Windows 10: device ran into a problem , continuously restarting my hp laptop

windows was showing various errors since I updated to windows 11.1.boot device not found install an operating system on your device.solved in other update but came back with other update.2.your device ran into a problem and restarts continuously startup repair doesn't work, and I didn't try other methods because I cant lose my data.

Problems with HP Laptop

See if it does the same thing in BIOS. I recently cleaned up my roommates toshiba laptop that was doing the same thing. I noticed it stayed running off the battery in BIOS, but not Win7. I installed avast, cleaned up with msconfig and removed a few "phantom devices" in Device manager. Works like a charm now. Maybe a virus or something. I wouldn't normally suggest such a thing but I ran into it first-hand.

 

from where to download device drivers for HP laptop

The HP list can get more specific if you step backwards to https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/laptops and then enter your serial number instead of relying on the model number alone.

If the final list includes several versions of the same driver then you could usefully download the latest version in each case.

If you believe that your currently-installed drivers are correct then you can export them in an admin command window using this command -
[replace E:\DriverBackupFolders with the path to an existing folder on, say, an external HDD]

- And you can point to this folder again when you reinstall by opening Device manager & using the update driver routine for any devices that have warning icons on them - just select the option that you have the installation disk in each case and give that folder as its location.
- Personally, I use the latest drivers downloaded from the OEM and then just use the backups for cases that remain a problem.
- After that you could use the HP support assistant [which is on the HP list you linked to] to detect and obtain any drivers that are still a problem.

PC ran into problem and needs to restart

I am continuously getting "PC ran into a problem and needs to restart" issue. I have tried disk checking using "chkdsk" command but got no problem with the disk. what might be the possible reason. please suggest something as I do not want to reset my
system.
