Windows 10: Windows 11 has started showing me adverts on the login screen. How to disable?

I have a paid for retail version of Windows 11, and it's showing me unwanted Microsoft advertising on the login screen. How do I disable this? This wasn't part of my purchase. I certainly haven't bought an advertising funded version.This morning, I have adverts for Xbox Game Pass for £1.

If the command didn't solve the problem, the try these steps in order:

1. Disable superfetch service
   • Empty the following folder c:\Windows\Prefetch\
   • Restart the computer

How do I disable Windows Update and adverts in windows 10 Pro?

I'm using Windows on multiple museum touchscreen displays and "Configuring update for Windows 10" is not a good display.

Also I'm tired of the adverts on the login screen and auto app installs.

If I'm paying for something I don't expect adverts in it especially at £189. It's not as if Windows is free for them to promote apps and show ads.

Is there any way to do this or do I have to move to Windows 8.1 or Linux?
