    Windows cumulative update 23H2 x64 Systems: Idk what to think anymore


    Since 11/14/2023, I have been trying to update the Win11 23H2 update I have Win11 Pro, and every time it downloads, then gets to 100% installed and throws an install error: Install error - 0x80070002. To make matters weirder, I went into Microsoft.com, found the update for x64 systems, to which only the security update was available. Then went back into windows update, and it had 3 updates available:Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 Version 1.401.1688.0 - Current Channel Broad2023-11 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-bas

    Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

    Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

    V 10.0 build 10240

    Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

    Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.
