I am using Windows 11 with Movie Maker. I've used MM for years and know how to operate it. But right now, it's not letting me add a music track to the video clips that I have edited together. At first it was closing down each time I tried it. I finally tricked it with a different song. But now, even though you can see the green sound ribbon at the bottom, it is still silent. No sound. I know that my regular sound is working because this video begins with a short few seconds of video with natural sound. You CAN hear that. But where I want to add "ADD MUSIC FROM THE CURRENT POINT" it just goes

As you are facing issue with Windows Movie Maker, I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to repair Windows Movie Maker and check if it helps.

• Press Windows Key, type Control Panel
  and select the same from the list.
• Under Programs, click Uninstall a Program.
• Locate Windows Live Essential then click
  Uninstall/Change.
• When a window appears, select Repair all Windows Live programs.
• Restart your computer after the repair.
