Windows 10: How to fix my pin is not available when you have a bsod because of a driver

My laptop had a wifi adapter issuse no fixes worked and as I followed the steps from asus I got a bsod that says driver verifier dma violation when I try to reset it and reboot it.none of that worked fast forward to now yesterday I was talking to asus support and they said to run MSCONFIG diagnostic startup to see what's wrong after I clicked restart the laptop restarted and couldnt enter my pin because it said something happend and your pin isnt available. I cannot get into safe mode or anything I can just turn the laptop off and on and restart it. I cant factory reset it or anything because

Pin Login not available and can't change or remove my pin

Hi Saschavan,

To help you disable your PIN login, kindly follow the steps below:

• Go to this location: Settings/Accounts/Sign-in options
• Check the PIN options and click the I forget my PIN available to click?
  
• Enter your password, it will prompt you to enter a new PIN.
• Click Cancel and your PIN should be disable upon reboot.

BSOD- atikmpag.sys

This is most likely due to an installation/upgrade error with ATI driver's. I suggest doing DriveSweeper and the following:

• Drivesweeper all drivers & in Safe Mode
• Unistall all drivers that aren't used in DriveSweeper (CCC Profiler Updates, MSI AfterBurner, anything related to ATI that use's it's drivers.)
• After you do this, the first thing you need to do is go into Device Manager and Unistall your ATI Drivers

Once your done, restart the PC and then try installing the latest drivers.


I had several issues with this in the past, but I overcame it with logical reasoning and whenever I have a driver issue, I just use these steps and I always overcome the problem.

Blue spinning pin wheel, program not responding?

Yes I was looking forward to getting Malwarebyte's back installed. What do you mean by skipping a day or two after reinstalling the software?

Someone on the Logitech forums claims updating the LGBusEnum.sys driver from within safe mode fixes the BSOD. That would mean reinstalling the Logitech gaming software and following these steps. What do you think?

Copy and pasted from og message:

1. Start Windows in Safe Mode
2. Navigate to the Device Manager
3. Go to System Devices and look for Logitech Gaming Virtual Bus Enumerator
4. Right click it and select Update Driver
5. Select Browse My Computer For Driver Software
6. Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Select Logitech GamePanel Virtual Bus Enumerator and select Next to install it
8. Restart your computer

I can confirm that this did work for me.
