Windows 10: Cannot attach folder in Google Mail

Running Windows 11 on a desktop and using Gmail. A picture based folder 5MB jpegs will not attach to email. If I open the folder and drag an individual picture 1.3MB to email it will attach. I have disabled One Drive and tried turning firewall off, neither of which works. I can attach other files but not this folder or any folder.Thanks,Roc

Outlook 2016 and [GMail] or [Google Mail] Folders

I am getting frustrated at trying to remove the [GMail] and [Google Mail] headers within Outlook 2016 which have bopthe appeared in the folder structure as you can see here.





I have looked in the GMail Labels online through GMail Settings and I can see [GMail] but when I set the Folder Root to [GMail] I lose all the other folders in Outlook and [Google Mail] doesnt appear in the GMail labels list at all *Sad

I wonder if someone can suggest how to cure this issue as I have noticed it now on 2 other GMail accounts that I use and it is annoying *Sad

Hello Allan,

To attach a document file on an email, you can follow the step given below:

For Windows 10 Mobile:

• Launch to File Explorer app.
• Press and hold the file that you need to attach on the email, and select
  Share button.
• Select Outlook Mail on the suggested applications.

For Windows Phone 8.1:

• Download and install
  Files app.
• Launch Files app.
• Tap and hold the document that you need to attach on the email, and select
  Share button.
• Select the Mail app on the suggested applications.

Attach a document into Windows 10 Mail

Thanks for your reply however I had opened the "Insert" button in Windows 10 Mail but "Mail" is not one of the files listed in the folder. The file I want to attach to a new email is in an old email in the "Deleted" folder.

Is there no other way to attach a file in a new email except from those files listed in the "Insert" listing folder in Windows 10 Mail?
