Windows 10: Problem with Focusrite Scarlet 2i4 after newest Windows updates

Hello,After update that took place 8.03.2025, despite any possible driver installing/configurating/etc. moves from my side:- installing newest version fully compatible with Win10- instaling previous stable versions still compatible with win10- deleting old driver packages from system - trying instaling in compatibility modemy sound card, after pointing a speaker icon located in tray, still informs "No speakers or headphones connected".I have noticed that this happend just after update installation. This was "Servicing Stack 10.0.19041.5547".I read that i cant manually unistall this update

IS IT CONNECTED if it is you can uninstall it as often as you wish and it will come back in device manager as when you restart it will be found by the system, as a new device.

Next time you shutdown use this procedure
Step 1: Open Start menu, select Power button.

Step 2: Press and hold the Shift key on keyboard, while clicking on Shut down, and then release the Shift key to perform a full shutdown.

See if it still freezes on then starting

 

my scarlet microphone has stopped working. it is set up correctly and troubleshooting cannot detect a problem . any suggestions?

my microphone is a Rode connected to a focusrite scarlet interface.

it is all new equipment and works fine.

Double boot and sound issues after windows update

I like focusrite sound interfaces, I personally believe they are among the best. I, however, owned an Emu 0404 and mostly asio 2.0 enabled creative sound cards.

I would try to uninstall focursite sound card and unplug it and see how the system acts after this change. Then put everything together and see what happens.
