    The initiator could not send an iSCSI PDU. Error status is given in the dump data.


    I have a 2node Dell PowerEdge M630 VRTX 2016 Datacenter cluster connecting to NetApp storage through a Juniper switch. I had been getting a lot of event errors in Windows from iScsiPrt with code 7 and 20. 20 being "Connection to the target was lost. The initiator will attempt to retry the connection." 7 being "The initiator could not send an iSCSI PDU. Error status is given in the dump data." Any ideas?

    iscsi initiator -- should I enable it and why or why not?

    Enabling/disabling software iSCSI initiator - Data Center Virtualization Certification: VCP6.5-DCV Exam Guide [Book] Seems to be a lot of different results when Googling: disable iscsi initiator The link above was the top result. But I don't really know which of the results might be appropriate to your setup.
