Windows 10: Pin code

I am not able to get a code through my email for my personal account. My email for my personal account is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I have tried the spam email folder but nothing seems to be coming through. My computer screen is not giving another way to put in my password, it is only showing to put my pin or forget my pin and when I choose forget my pin. It is asking for my email to give me an access code but I am not getting any emails from Microsoft for the acces code. I have tried calling to get help but it seems you do not take calls and this is the only way I can reach support for help. I nee

Forgotten PIN and expired password

Thanks for your answer.

I tried steps of both links:

• #1: reset PIN code
  
  • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    
• #2: change or reset windows password
  
  • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
    
  • I am using a local account
    

If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.

There's a possibility that the PIN code you're asked to enter is the PIN code of your Windows 10 user account. If you signed in to Windows 10 using your Microsoft account, the Xbox app will take the credentials you've used to sign in. Let's remove the PIN
code. Here are the steps:

1. Click Start and select Settings.
2. Select Accounts.
3. Select Sign-in options, under PIN, click
   Remove.
4. Confirm the changes by entering your profile password.

If the same instance occurs after removing the PIN code and changing your user account's sign-in options, we suggest that you sign in to
