Windows 10: Failure to send MFA SMS during sign-in with error code 399287

    I've attempted to sign into the Azure portal today on my personal account, but no matter what I do it attempts to send a "verify this account" SMS. When I press the button to send the SMS, it returns the error: Sorry, we're having trouble verifying your account.     And how are they supposed to send you the code, by airmail?

    You can create as many emails as you want. And email is much more secure than SMS. If someone is asking for recovery, it is either because he lost his credentials or was hacked.

    Send SMS USSD with a gsm modem


    My laptop has an integrated GSM (HSPDA) modem that I can use to connect to the internet with a SIM card. I wonder if I can send SMS / USSD code with it under Windows 10. I know it is technically possible since it works under Linux (with modem-manager-gui). I need to send SMS to recharge my credit or have the remaining credit, etc.
