Windows 10: Language Icon Missing from Taskbar After Login on Windows 11

Hello everyone,I’m having a problem with my Windows 11 taskbar. The language icon for switching keyboard layouts does not appear where it normally should on the taskbar. However, I’ve noticed that when I log in, a transparent taskbar briefly appears at the top of the desktop but disappears shortly after.Here attached the image of what exactly I wish.I’ve tried the following solutions, but none have resolved the issue:Verified taskbar settings to ensure the language icon is enabled.Enabled the desktop language bar via Control Panel settings.Restarted the system after making adjustments.Used the

Some taskbar icons are missing

I have a similar problem. My Windows Office icons are missing on my windows 11 taskbar.

Tried to follow the instructions above but could not delete the iconcache files as they were in use

Any suggestions?

I appreciate your interest in Windows 11. I understand that Taskbar icons are not working after upgrading to Windows 11. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.



However, please let us know:

1. What happens when you click on an icon on the Taskbar?
   
2. Do you receive any error message/code?
   
3. Does this issue occur with all the icons?
   

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to try re-registering the taskbar and see if that works. Kindly follow the steps mentioned below.

1. Press Windows + X keys together and click on Windows PowerShell (Admin)
   
2. Now type in the following command and hit Enter: Get-AppXPackage -User ([System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity]::GetCurrent().Name) *ShellExperienceHost* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
   
3. Restart the PC once the command is complete.
   

If the issue persists, you can try creating a new user account and then see if you are able to access the icons on the Taskbar.

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.
